We look forward to welcoming you to our B&B "Den Gamle Lade I Hejls".

“Huset”, our apartment on the 1st floor of the farmhouse. Here you have your own kitchen and bathroom. There is plenty of space for the family with a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a room with 2 single beds.

“Det Gamle Værksted”, our studio apartment on the ground floor. Here you have your own bathroom, a small kitchen with a combi oven, hob, coffee machine, electric kettle. There is also a double bed and a sofa bed. We recommend booking for a family of 2 adults and 2 children.

“Depotet”, our smallest room. Here you have a fridge, microwave and electric kettle. There is also a double bed and a small dining area for two. When the weather is good, you can sit under cover outside the room and enjoy your breakfast.

Breakfast must be ordered before 7 pm the day before and until approximately April 15th, breakfast will be served in baskets in your room.

Hereafter breakfast is served in baskets in our new Breakfastroom in “Laden”. You can also choose to pick up the basket at the Breakfastroom. We will have it ready for you at the time you have requested.

We have locked bicycle parking with charging facilities.

Please let us know when you book your stay.

Find the red barngate when you arrive.

We will give you the code for the lock.

Do you have an electric car?

Electric cars can be charged at the OK charging station, located at Dagli’ Brugsen, 250 meters from us.

Are you arriving late?

You can order a light meal from us. See the menu on the website: Menu B&B

Hejls Multipark: (Distance from B&B 361 m.)

A recreational nature and activity park in close connection with Hejlsminde Nor wildlife reserve.

A good opportunity for families, children, young people and adults to combine nature and activity.

Football golf in Hejls: (Distance from B&B 1 km.)

Football golf has become a popular activity in Denmark. Football golf is for everyone – regardless of age and gender. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks.

Popular hiking routes and places in the area:

Around Hejls Nor: A 12 km marked route that combines tramping paths, established paths and asphalt.

Hejls Nor bird tower: A good stop to observe the area's rich birdlife, including hawks.

Hejlsminde Strand: (Distance from B&B 2 km.)

A shallow and child-friendly sandy beach with a Blue Flag.

Maps/Apps: Digital maps can be found via AllTrails, which shows routes in the area.

Hejlsminde fishing spot:

Hejlsminde is a beautiful summer and holiday town with a lovely beach and several fishing spots by the bay. However, remember to take into account the conservation area near Hejls Nor. At Hejlsminde harbour there are good parking conditions and access to toilets.

Skamlingsbanken (Distance from B&B 6.8 km.) Address: Skamlingvejen 123-125, 6093 Sjølund

A historic, hilly natural area south of Kolding with 360-degree views of the Little Belt. You can visit the interactive visitor centre, hike the 2.5-4.5 km long routes, see historical memorial stones, have a picnic, visit the café or experience summer fun for children.
