The year is 2021, and we are in a cozy little country house on the outskirts of Sorø in West Zealand. My wife and I sit for an evening and have a good time, and the conversation turns to the fact that our son and his girlfriend are now talking about the fact that they might want to buy a house in Southern Jutland, and that we should probably accept that their lives in the future will be anchored there. The idea of packing our bags, selling our house and starting a whole new chapter in our lives grows and takes more and more shape during the conversation. We must say goodbye to the life we know today and we must have the courage to start anew. The dream of opening our own B&B was born, and the house hunt began...
2 years later we sold the house in Sorø and bought the property in Hejls.

Today we are a newly renovated bed and breakfast located in Hejls, just south of Kolding.
We currently offer
a cozy holiday apartment - "The House" - with 2 bedrooms, kitchen/living room and private bathroom and toilet.
a family room - "Det gl. værksted" - with its own bath and toilet.
a double room - "Depotet" - with private bath and toilet.
There is access to the courtyard, free private parking and free WiFi.
The property is non-smoking and is 16 km from Koldinghus Kongeslot - Ruin - Museum.
The property has an outdoor dining area. Breakfast offers rolls/home-baked buns, cheese, jam and cold meats. In addition, cornflakes/oatmeal or yogurt with muesli can be served, and of course coffee/tea and juice and some fruit.
